Flex Wind and Bladefence jointly announce the Flex Wind acquisition of the Bladefence’s key assets in the United States. Flex Wind CEO Ole Bridal states “As part of our strategic plan, Flex Wind is expanding its geographical footprint from its current focus in Europe, Africa and Latin America with the addition of North America – initially the U.S. – as a new market for us, where we know there is expected growth in the coming years.” Desiree Grace, General Manager of Flex Wind USA, shares her excitement, saying “The reputation for high quality associated with the Bladefence technicians in the US aligns with the Flex Wind focus on customer satisfaction, so it’s an excellent fit, with good synergy among the two organizations.”
As Flex-Wind stands up its new U.S. organization, “Bladefence USA Inc will continue to execute on key contracts critical to our customers success”, according to Joe Baker, President, Bladefence USA. Bladefence will move it’s focus to Europe once those projects are successfully completed, states Heikki Vesterinen, CEO of Bladefence.
“Flex Wind will assume responsibility for the Bladefence technicians and other key personnel in September, and is committed to continuing excellent service for our mutual customers”, concludes Ole Bridal, Flex Wind CEO.
