Bladefence North America continues to increase our footprint as a major player in the composite wind repair and maintenance markets. Our plan for 2023 includes doubling the size of our workforce, investing in new equipment, and structuring a training program that will provide a clear career path that will help you in your learning and development.
Wind power is expected to provide 31 % of our energy by 2050 and the onshore growth of wind farms continues to take place in the United States. There are major wind projects underway in New York, on the East Coast, and other sites across the United States (Mordor Intelligence, 2021-2026).
Our teams are in the field traveling throughout the United States from March through the end of December. Living and working in some of the most beautiful places in the United States. In addition to a competitive hourly wage while in the field our team members are paid a per diem to pay for lodging and meals.

Wind farms are spread across the world and the United States is a new frontier. If you want to see new places, meet new friends, and work 6-8 weeks on and 1 week off we are hiring new team members with composite repair experience and CDL drivers to operate our truck “Bronto” and learn to run the bucket. You will experience working at heights extended 300 feet above the ground with teammates working from a Bronto. We operate state-of-the-art machinery that you will learn to operate and if you are interested in learning blade repair, we will train you.
During the off-season you will learn new technical skills to advance as a Blade Technician. During the season we share information among the different teams to learn and discuss best practices, tools, resins, composite material, and safety.
